Sushilabai Ramchandrarao Mamidwar College Of Social Work is committed to impart, Social, Cultural, Professional and Healthy Education to the students at under graduate and Post Graduate Level.

It also ensures and inculcates perfect discipline with regard to regularity, sincerity and punctuality among the students and teachers. The mission of the college is also the pursuance of knowledge through lifelong learning in academic and co-curricular activities.

The college takes pride in emphasizing theory and practice where students gain the width of knowledge and the depth of experience that provide meaningful contribution to career and community.

This Academic procedure has proved to be beneficial and shaped us in many ways. We have gone through each & every stage with active involvement of everyone in the campus. This entire report reflects on what we have done during the past three years. This college was the part of earlier sardar patel college which had undergone accreditation that took place in the year 2004. The college was separated from its parent college and became independent college (Sardar Patel College of social Work) in 2007 which has a sprawling premise of five acres. The names of the college have been changed later on.

It is my great privilege to mention that our college imparts social work education in the tribal area of eastern Vidarbha. The college provides ample opportunities in structured experience learning. The focus is on the development of skills that are important for social work practice and matching abilities through various types of participatory exercises. Exercises and sessions are conducted to sharpen skills pertaining to: perception; sensitivity; self-awareness; communication; skills for working with individuals groups and communities; presentation; organization; and administration.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude towards president of Sarvodaya Shikshan Mandal, Hon’ble Shri. Shantaramji Potdukhe, (Ex-Finance Minister of State, Government of India) for encouraging and supporting us for facing the challenges of accreditation.

Our true efforts, team support, encouragement of management and direct and indirect help from all the concerned during the last one year have helped us in climbing the stage for accreditation. We sincerely feel that our work will meet the expectations and requirement of NAAC.
